The Kashmir valley is a mosaic of forests, waterways and covered with snow clad mountains. The Jammu region provides religious destinations to the Hindus. Here the shrine of Mata Vaishnu Devi is situated and the site is beautiful enough to stare. The third is the Ladakh region situated on the high altitude of Himalayan Mountains and is a sparsely populated desert studded with Buddhist monasteries which are its main attraction.
