Assam

Assam along with other seven north eastern states, often called as the eight sister states of northeastern India, make up the most geographically isolated and least visited part of the country. There are few places of tourists’ interests in Assam which include the city of Guwahati, Tezpur and some more places.

Assam, spread along the valley of the Brahmaputra River, is famous for its tea gardens and wild life resources. Assam is righteously called as naturalist’s paradise, with a wealth of rare flora and fauna.

The Kaziranga National Park is a widely visited natural site in the state which is home to one of the most endangered species of the world i.e. the one horned rhinoceros.
